Real Talk.
No Fluff.

Honestly, we care more about your character than a PDF file. If you have one, send it. If you don't, just send us a message or a letter. Tell us your name, where you live, your school background, and why you actually want to work. We can see "potential" much better in a conversation than on a piece of paper anyway. Don't let teh lack of a CV stop you from starting your career. No, really, character beats a fancy font every time.

We don't do that "free intern" thing here. It’s a dumb idea to expect people to work for nothing. If you are putting in time and energy to help St Omenka grow, you deserve to be paid. You start earning a salary from your very first month. Of course, as you get better and become a "pro," your value to teh company goes up, and we talk about raises. But from day one, you're a team member, not a volunteer.

Yes, we still hire. We know many young people are in a "waiting period." As long as you are honest with us about your timeline, we can work with it. If you're going to be with us for 6 months or a year, we want to make sure that by teh time you leave for school, you’ve learned a skill that can help you earn money even while you’re on campus. We’d rather have a great worker for 6 months than a lazy one for 5 years. Honest talk is best.

It depends on how fast you pick things up, but usually, within 2 weeks, you’ll know teh basics. By teh end of a month, you’ll be running jobs yourself. We don't throw you into teh deep end alone—that sucks. You’ll shadow an experienced operator who will show you everything—from how to load rolls to how to clean teh print heads. teh software looks like a spaceship at first, but it’s actually very logical.

Look, mistakes are part of teh learning process. We’ve all ruined a flex or misspelled a word on a business card before. Lol, no really, I've seen it all. We don't shout or deduct your whole salary for one mistake. What we do expect is that you own up to it immediately so we can fix it for teh customer, and that you learn why it happened. We value honesty over perfection. Just don't hide it.

Phone apps are a good start for "vibes," but for professional printing, you need to learn teh "big guns" like CorelDraw, Photoshop, or Illustrator. If you have teh eye for design, we can teach you teh software. But you have to be ready to sit down and focus. It takes practice to get teh alignment and color profiles right. If you’re willing to put in teh hours, we’ll give you teh tools. Beleive me, it's worth it.

Definitely not just cleaning. You are basically teh face of teh brand. When a customer walks in confused, you’re teh one who guides them. You’ll learn how to handle different types of people, manage orders, and see how a business actually functions from teh inside. It’s teh best role for someone who wants to start their own business one day. No drama, just real business experience.

Nope. We provide everything. We have high-speed computers for teh designers and all teh machinery needed for teh operators. All you need to bring is yourself, a notebook (to write down what you’re learning), and a positive attitude. We handle the overhead; you handle teh growth.

We’re a small, tight-knit team. We don't have time for "office politics." If there’s a problem, we talk about it and fix it. teh work can get fast-paced, especially during festive seasons when everyone wants their cards and banners "yesterday," but we handle teh pressure together. No one gets left behind to struggle alone. It’s a team, not a hierarchy.

In a big corporation, you’re just a number. You might spend all day doing one tiny task. At St Omenka, you see teh whole picture. You see a design go from a blank screen to a physical banner that someone hangs up in teh city. You get to learn multiple skills, talk to teh owners directly, and see how a business actually makes money. It’s a "real world" education you can't get in a classroom.

Still Overthinking?

If you want to learn, we want to talk. It's really that simple. Don't let a PDF or a JAMB score stop you from building a real skill.
